Key West Cemetery

Self Guided Key West Cemetery Tour is a great "totally free" way to learn about the island's history.

The historic Key West Cemetery entrance gate is located at the corner of Poorhouse Lane and Margaret St. in Old Town Key West. Just inside the gate is a box loaded with free tour maps of the cemetery provided by the Historic Florida Keys Foundation. The cemetery was created in 1847 following a devastating hurricane in 1846 which destroyed the previous cemetery and left those interred
strewn about the island in a horrific mess.

Banana Cafe is great choice for breakfast.
(or lunch or dinner).
This breakfast was $12 including 20% tip
and tax. Scrambled eggs, smoked salmon , English muffin and black coffee.
The Banana is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch from 8am to 3pm.
Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday, 6pm to 10pm. For a tasty bit of
France on Duval, you can't go wrong with
the Banana Cafe in Key West.

Martin's for lunch

Martin's is open 7 days a week for lunch
and dinner. The delicious Pasta Bolognese and coffee was only $9.50 plus tax and tip. Considering this lunch included a crisp linen table cloth and a
street view of Duval to people watch makes this a great way to enjoy a wonderful Key West afternoon. (Bring your Key West Restaurant Card and save an extra 10%). Highly recommended.
